Keepers joins AUTOCONTROL

The influencer marketing agency Keepers part of APPLE TREE, has announced that it has joined AUTOCONTROL,, the independent self-regulatory body of the advertising industry in Spain. This step reinforces the agency’s commitment to complying with the code of conduct governing the use of influencers in advertising across all its campaigns, both for clients and its branded content and influencers.

For Sergio Barreda, CEO of Keepers: “Joining AUTOCONTROL offers our clients an additional guarantee that our work is not only creative, but also appropriate and fully aligned with current regulations. We also want to continue promoting best practice within our industry, helping to prevent possible malpractices and giving our clients confidence in all their influencer activations.”

Joining AUTOCONTROL marks another milestone in Keepers’ ongoing commitment to the professionalisation of influencer marketing. Earlier this year, the agency presented its reputation management and brand safety method, designed to ensure the selection of the most suitable and safe creator profiles for each brand. As Sergio Barreda adds:“Our sector has taken its first steps with great success, but clients are increasingly concerned not only about campaign results, but also about legal compliance and ensuring activations align with their values and brand reputation.”

Keepers, commitment to boost influencer marketing in Spain

Founded nine years ago in Madrid by Sergio Barreda, Keepers is made up of more than 30 professionals who work closely with brands to develop influencer marketing strategies in collaboration with content creators and influencers. Since its inception, the agency has worked to elevate the discipline, operating to the highest quality standards and in line with advertising regulations.

As part of this commitment to strengthening influencer marketing within the communications sector, Keepers is a member of several leading industry associations, including the Association of Digital Influence Professionals of Spain (APIDE), where Sergio Barreda currently serves as President.
